Course Content:
The purpose of this program is to enhance the learner's job search skills. Resumes and cover letters are created and skills such as researching, networking, and interviewed and developed and practiced. Students will participate in a mock interview with a skilled interviewer. As well, students focus on skills such as self-awareness, goal setting, interpersonal communication, personal presentation, and business etiquette.
There are 21 modules, with a range of topics including the Hidden Job Market, Application Forms, References, Researching, Human Rights, Dealing with Disabilities, Appearance, Cover Letters, and Information Interviewing.
